Damage and moisture
Most furniture claims are transit damage, not manufacturing defects, and they are largely a packaging problem: corner protection, edge banding, film wrap, carton strength and pallet decisions. Timber and board products also move with humidity between a South China factory and a dry destination market, so moisture content at packing matters.
